Deadline Approaching For Polk County Public Schools District Survey

As PCPS applies for a federal grant that helps with operational changes, staff wants the community to give feedback through a survey.

POLK COUNTY, FL — Polk County Public Schools (PCPS) is applying for school relief funds through the American Rescue Plan Act, a school news release said.

This federal grant — commonly known as ESSER III (Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief) — will help PCPS and other school districts continue to address learning loss, health and safety needs of students and staff, and operational changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, school staff said.

As part of this application process, PCPS has asked stakeholders throughout the community to complete a brief survey.

You can find the survey here (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PolkESSERIIIFunding).
The deadline to complete this survey is Friday, Dec. 17.

The survey will ask for your thoughts on the district’s Instructional Continuity Plan (ICP).
The ICP is a set of plans and procedures covering how our school district would continue to provide students access to a high-quality education when a disaster, emergency or other disruptive event causes extended school closures or otherwise interrupts traditional face-to-face instruction.
