Publix, Winn-Dixie Labor Day 2017 Store Hours

LAKELAND, FL — Tampa Bay area residents who find themselves a few items shy for their Labor Day barbecues can relax. Two of the region’s most popular grocery chains plan to open normal hours to serve them on Labor Day, Sept. 4.

Publix spokesman Brian West says all of the Lakeland-based chain’s stores in Florida will operate on their normal schedules over the holiday weekend.

Winn-Dixie spokeswoman Meredith Hurley reports the same. Hurley also said Winn-Dixie is gearing up to celebrate the return of football season. “We encourage customers to visit their local Winn-Dixie store for great Labor Day weekend deals and tailgating necessities,” she said.

Both stores also have a variety of specials planned to help residents celebrate summer’s end. Shoppers should check their favorite store’s advertised specials to cash in on any savings offered.
