A Voting Checklist Available For Lakeland, Fort Meade, Winter Haven Voters Here

A checklist for voters has been provided by the Polk County Supervisor of Elections helping residents have a smooth voting process.

POLK COUNTY, FL — If you're voting in November 2 Municipal Elections for Lakeland, Fort Meade and Winter Haven, the Polk County Supervisor of Elections Office is asking registered voters to bring required documents.

“Our goal is to make the process of voting smooth and easy, and these tips can help to accomplish that,” Lori Edwards, Polk County Supervisor of Elections, said.

According to Edwards, voters are encouraged to follow these Election Day Voting Tips:

  • Bring photo and signature ID to the polls
  • Remember that the polls are open from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. on Election Day
  • You may take a sample ballot into the polling room on Election Day
  • If you have moved, changed your name or your signature has changed, notify the Elections Office before Election Day
  • Double check your polling location—some may have changed for this election
