Schools Reminds Students Wearing Costumes To Games For Halloween Weekend Is Prohibited
Polk County Public Schools District has sent out a reminder Thursday to students and parents that costumes are not allowed at Friday games.

POLK COUNTY, FL — Students attending any athletic events, including high school football games, Halloween weekend in Polk County will not be allowed to wear costumes to games, according to the Polk County Public Schools District.
Costumes and props of any kind are still not permitted at any school district athletic events. This is Polk County Public Schools’ normal practice throughout the year, officials said.
"Spectators can wear a mask or face covering that is intended to help protect students, staff and families against the spread of COVID-19," school officials said. "However, please be advised that Halloween or costume masks are not permitted and will not be allowed as a substitute."
