Tuesday Morning Closing Last 16 Florida Stores, Going Out Of Business Sales Under Way

The last 16 Florida locations of Tuesday Morning stores are closing. Going out of business sales have begun.

FLORIDA — After nearly 50 years in business, national home goods discount retailer Tuesday Morning will soon shutter all its stores, including the final 16 sites in Florida.

Going out of business sales are already underway at all locations, though the last day in business is not clear. The chain is closing these stores this month:

"... We have begun the process of closing all our stores," the retailer posted on social media Saturday. "... Thank you for 49 years of loyalty and support."

The Texas-based retailer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this year, and also voluntarily delisted from the Nasdaq stock exchange in December 2022.

The store will honor gift cards or merchandise return cards until Saturday, May 13. Anything purchased before April 28 can still be returned within 14 days with the original receipt.

The chain's website also advertised "everything must go" sales with markdowns up to 30 percent off.

The retailer has stores in 25 states. All will close.
