‘You People Are Next’: Lakeland Woman Threatens Health Insurance Co.
A Lakeland woman was arrested for threatening a Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance rep, saying, "delay, deny, depose," reports said.

LAKELAND, FL — A Lakeland woman was arrested Tuesday for threatening her health insurance company over denied claims, multiple reports said.
During the call, Briana Boston, 42, used language similar to that used by UnitedHealthcare CEO shooting suspect Luigi Mangione while upset with Blue Cross Blue Shield about denied medical insurance claims, Fox 13 reported.
“Delay, deny, depose. You people are next,” Boston said as she ended the recorded conversation with an insurance representative on Tuesday, according to WFLA.

Boston told Lakeland police that she “used those words because it’s what is in the news right now,” ABC News reported.
She also told investigators that she isn’t a threat and doesn’t own guns, though she added that health care companies “deserve karma” and are “evil,” reports said.
