WESLEY CHAPEL, FL - A 13-year-old Wesley Chapel boy was charged Saturday with aggravated assault after threatening two 11-year-old girls with a knife at Wiregrass Mall, deputies said. The girls were walking at the mall when the boy and a 12-year-old juvenile stopped them. The 13-year-old boy asked if they had any money.
When they said no, he pulled out a pocket knife and told them he would stab them, deputies said. The girls found a security guard who followed the boy and obtained a license tag number. The boy was located and arrested on a felony charge and taken to the juvenile center. The 12-year-old juvenile confirmed that the other boy pulled a knife on the girls, deputies said.
