$25,000 Chick-fil-A Scholarship Awarded To Land O' Lakes High Student

LAND O' LAKES, FL β€” As part of the new Chick-fil-A Community Scholars program, Allen Ho, a senior at Land O’ Lakes High School and incoming student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has been awarded a $25,000 scholarship from Chick-fil-A.

Ho is one of 13 community service-minded leaders to be recognized.

His dream is to create a sustainable business to aid and empower civilians in Burma. He volunteered with the United States Campaign for Burma throughout high school.

To support himself and his family, he began a phone repair business where he learned resilience and stewardship.

This year, Chick-fil-A celebrates the 50th anniversary of its scholarship giving, which has helped restaurant team members pursue academic goals and further their career opportunities since 1973.

Chick-fil-A Inc. has awarded more than $25 million in scholarships in 2023, investing in higher education for more than 13,000 restaurant team members and 13 community service-minded students across the U.S. and Canada.
