The GFWC Lutz-Pasco Juniors will be hosting a soup supper night at Hope Lodge in Tampa on Wednesday, Jan.18 at 5:45. Volunteers will serve soups and breads to patients and their families staying at Hope Lodge, a short-term residential facility designed to offer free housing, counseling and referral services to any cancer patient who travels to the Bay area for treatment. There are about 50 cancer patients at the lodge at any one time.
So far the group has three types of soup: turkey chili, broccoli cheese and ham & bean.
Volunteers are needed, as well as more soups, ice, crackers, some breads or breadsticks and a veggie/cheese plate.
