Motorcyclist Killed, 2 Injured In Pasco County Crash: FL Troopers
An 80-year-old man drove into a motorcyclist's path while trying to make a u-turn on State Road 56, FL Highway Patrol said.
PASCO COUNTY, FL — A motorcyclist died after a Saturday afternoon crash on State Road 56 in Pasco County, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old Wesley Chapel man, was heading west on the highway around 4:15 p.m. as a Nissan Rogue was heading east on the road.
The SUV’s driver, an 80-year-old San Antonio man trying to make a u-turn at Lajuana Boulevard, drove into the motorcyclist’s path, hitting him, FHP said.

The motorcyclist was brought to an area hospital and later died from his injuries.
The SUV’s driver suffered minor injuries in the crash, while his passenger, a 91-year-old San Antonio woman, was seriously injured and hospitalized.
