Grand Opening of ECW original Gary Wolf’s ProGear Animal House

Wrestlemania this year is in Philadelphia, PA right in the heart of where the legendary
ECW arena is. The 90’s was the birth WWE’s Raw era which was inspired by Extreme
Championship Wrestling (ECW). ECW was a groundbreaking pro wrestling company and
helped launch hall of fame careers such as Rob Van Dam and the Dudley Boyz. One of the most
intense tag teams of that era were the Pitbull’s which consisted of Pitbull # 1 Gary Wolf and
Pitbull # 2 Anthony Durante. Their rivalries became the talk of legend in the wrestling world
especially when Pitbull # 1 Gary Wolf broke his neck and made a historical comeback.

Gary Wolf was trained by Larry Sharpe and is an alumnus of the historic Monster
Factory. He had a successful singles career and even managed to capture the coveted ECW
television title and was ranked No. 80 of the 500 top wrestlers in the PWI 500 in 1996.

As the Pitbull’s he was ECW World Tag Team Champions, GWA Tag Team Champion,
HRCW Tag Team Champion, IPW Tag Team Champion, NWA United States Tag Team
Champion (New Jersey version) (2 times). When they wrestled in WWE the went against the
Head Bangers, The British Bulldogs, and WWE hall of fame inductees the Hart Foundation,

March 16, 2024, is the grand opening of ECW original Pitbull # 1 Gary Wolf’s Animal
House Professional Wrestling Academy. Pro Wrestling, food and excitement will be provided.
Doors open at 6:00pm and the show starts at 7pm. The wrestling show is located at ProGear
Gym at 13369 Cortez Blvd Brooksville, Florida. The grand opening includes free admission for
everyone. The event is sponsored by ProGear and Atomic Legacy Wrestling.

It’s a must see show with matches of ECW American Pitbull Gary Wolf with ECW manager of
champion’s Bill Alfonso versus WCW legend the Cuban Assassin with his manager Fantasy.
Some of the featured matches that night will be Joshua Masters versus Kayden Greene and
Kelsey Heather versus Kendall Ryann. Other wrestlers that will be fighting in this show will be
Rescue 911 and Suma Te Woke La, Jerry Swirlz, Maximus, Money Man, El Ridiculoso, Eddie
Honcho, Jason Dugan, and numerous others.

The event is to give back to the community and they are having a food drive, so all attending is
asked to bring nonperishable food goods for the food drive. The food will later be given to
