Halloween Happens In Pasco County This Weekend

LAND O' LAKES, FL -- Wondering what to do this weekend? Here are some spooky events taking place in Pasco County.

Scream-A-Geddon

Scream-A-Geddon, 27839 Saint Joe Road, Dade City, continues Oct. 27-31 and Nov. 1-3 starting at 7:30 p.m.

There are several attractions and not all of them offer the interactive option. Attendees can get food and drinks at the Monster Midway.

Guests must be at least 18 years old to to enter the interactive attractions.

Tickets start at $19.95. Prices vary depending on the date.

Spooky Train

All aboard the Spooky Train.

Children can ride a miniature train, crawl through the spider tunnel and visit a graveyard Oct. 19 and 20 and Oct. 26 and 27 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Concourse, 11919 Alric Pottberg Road, Shady Hills.

The cost is $3 per ride.

Haunted House

The Land O' Lakes Community Center, 5401 Land O' Lakes Blvd., will host a haunted house Friday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Oct. 27, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Admission is $1. For information, call (813) 929-1229.

Haunted Festival

San Antonio will host a Haunted Festival featuring a haunted house, hay rides, games, bounce houses and snacks from 5-10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the San Antonio Civic Center, 11609 Boys Village Drive. Proceeds benefit AIM, a nonprofit youth theater organization in Pasco County. For information, call (813) 748-0138.

Trunk Or Treat

A Trunk or Treat Party will take place Saturday, Oct. 27 from 6-8 p.m. at St. Stephen's Church, 5326 Charles St., New Port Richey. There will be prizes for best-decorated car and costume, plus refreshments and games. Admission is a nonperishable food item. For information, call (727) 597-3652.

Fright Night

The Filipino American Social Club's will host a costume party potluck from 6-11 p.m. Saturday, Oct.. 27 at the Regency Park Civic Center, 10240 Regency Park Blvd., Port Richey. Members and nonmembers of all ages are invited. The party includes music and dancing, costume contests for kids and adults, plus door prizes, raffles and games. Bring a dish to share and nonperishable food items or toiletries to be donated to the homeless during the holiday season. The cost is $12 for nonmembers, $10 for members and free for kids 13 and younger. Call (727) 376-3680.
