Hurricane Irma: More Pasco Shelters Reach Capacity

LAND O’ LAKES, FL – Pasco County has announced another hurricane shelter has reached full capacity while another has reached capacity for pets.

The county announced the hurricane shelter at Wiregrass High School in Wesley Chapel has reached capacity for evacuees while Sunlake High School in Land O’ Lakes has reached capacity for pets.

Pinellas County recommended evacuees should seek shelter at one of the following locations:

• Centennial Middle School, Dade City
• Pasco Middle School, Dade City
• Weightman Middle School, Wesley Chapel
• Connerton Elementary School, Land O’ Lakes
• Double Branch Elementary School, Wesley Chapel
• Longleaf Elementary School, New Port Richey
• New River Elementary School, Wesley Chapel
• Oakstead Elementary School, Land O’ Lakes
• Odessa Elementary School, New Port Richey
• Pine View Elementary School, Land O’ Lakes
• Sanders Elementary School, Land O’ Lakes
• Seven Oakes Elementary School, Wesley Chapel
• Trinity Elementary School, New Port Richey
• Veterans Elementary School, Wesley Chapel
• River Ridge Middle/High School, New Port Richey
• Sunlake High School (people only)
