Anime, Manga Con Anything But 'Lame,' Fans Say
Organizers said the event showed that libraries are not just libraries anymore but 'community gathering places.'
The Library Anime & Manga Enthusiasts Convention, or LAMEcon as its cheekily and affectionately known, returned for its fifth year in a year. It was held Saturday and Sunday (June 29-30) at the Land O’ Lakes library, 2818 Collier Parkway.
