Land O' Lakes Man Dies After Hitting Porsche Nearly Head-On

LAND O' LAKES, FL — A 25-year-old Land O' Lakes man has died following a crash on State Road 54 Monday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 8:29 p.m., a Kia Sorento was heading east on SR 54 and a Porsche Macan was headed west on SR 54. Near the intersection of Wilson Road, the Kia crossed into the westbound lanes and nearly collided head-on with the Porsche.

The driver of the Kia was taken to the hospital where he died.

The driver of the Porsche, a 45-year-old Land O' Lakes man, suffered minor injuries.
