Lutz Armed Robber Took Cash, Lottery Tickets, Deputies Say
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says a Lutz man is responsible for a recent armed robbery at a Citgo station.

LUTZ, FL — A 36-year-old Lutz man faces armed robbery charges after Pasco County Sheriff’s deputies say he robbed a gas station at gunpoint.
The crime in question occurred on Aug. 9 at the 1616 N. Dale Mabry Highway Citgo station. According to deputies, a man walked into the store just before 10 p.m. and showed the clerk a firearm. The man demanded money and was given $400, an arrest report said.
Before leaving the store, deputies say the man also took several $20 Gold Rush Florida Lottery tickets.

The next day, deputies say the man tried to scan the stolen Lottery tickets at a 7-Eleven. Images of him inside the store were released through Crime Stoppers and local media.
Multiple tips, the arrest report noted, led to the identification of Joseph Reeves as the suspect.

Reeves was booked into the Land O’ Lakes Jail late Wednesday night on one count of robbery with a firearm or deadly weapon. His bail in the felony case was set at $50,000, according to jail records.
