• Moffitt completes first project at new Pasco campus (tampabeacon.com) — A major new Moffitt Cancer Center outpatient facility has just opened on the Speros campus in Land O’ Lakes, bringing advanced cancer screenings, imaging, infusion, and Tampa Bay’s first proton therapy center to local patients. The 775‑acre Speros project will eventually include extensive research space, clinics, housing, and thousands of new jobs, anchoring the growing Angeline community in Pasco County. 
• Freedom Alliance gives back to Navy veteran (lakerlutznews.com) — A Navy veteran now living in Land O' Lakes has received a new all-terrain wheelchair from the nonprofit Freedom Alliance, helping him stay active with his family and community. After severe injuries from an IED in Afghanistan, the chair will let him better navigate daily life and return to Florida’s trails, while he continues volunteering and supporting others outdoors.
