LUTZ, FL — As the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a Lutz gas station robbery that occurred last week, Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay has upped the stakes for information that leads to an arrest. A $3,000 reward has been made available.
According to the sheriff’s office, a man robbed the Citgo Quik Mart at 1616 N. Dale Mabry Highway just before 10 p.m. on Aug. 9. Right before the robbery occurred, the man deputies are now looking for was captured on store surveillance video at the nearby Walmart. He was wearing jeans, a long-sleeve, white shirt, a purple and white knit hat and dark sneakers. A nearby 7-Eleven also captured images of the suspect the next day in a ball cap and T-shirt.
Deputies believe the man drives a silver Honda two-door Civic. The vehicle has a missing right rear hubcap.
