Pasco County July 4 Fireworks, Parades and More: 2018 Guide

DADE CITY, FL – Pasco County prepared to celebration Independence Day.

Sparklebration, one of the largest Independence Day celebrations in Pasco County, will take place Wednesday, July 4 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Pasco County Fairgrounds on State Road 52 in Dade City.

The annual celebration features an evening of events and entertainment for the entire family, wrapping up with a fireworks display.

Admission is $5 for those 13 and up. Parking is $5.

5th Annual Avalon Park West Celebration

For the fifth year, the mixed-use Avalon Park West community at 5227 Autumn Ridge Drive, Wesley Chapel, will celebrate Independence Day Wednesday, July 4 with an evening of food trucks, bike parades, baking contests, community performances, vendors and a fireworks display.

“Our Independence Day celebration is meant to bring all of the region together for an event they will remember,” said Stephanie Lerret, senior vice president at Avalon Park Group, developer of Avalon Park West. “We take great pride in providing unique opportunities to play in Avalon Park West.”

Activities include:

• A bike parade, with kids showcasing and decorating their bikes
• A pie bake-off, featuring homemade pies
• Wet and dry slides for kids of all sizes
• Dozens of vendors featuring crafts and goods
• Food trucks

The free event starts at 5 p.m. with the fireworks display beginning at 9 p.m.

Fourth Of July Cardboard Regatta

Seven Oaks Clubhouse will host its annual Fourth of July cardboard boat regatta Wednesday, July 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the clubhouse, 2910 Sports Core Circle, Wesley Chapel.

The two-person boat must be created entirely out of cardboard. Awards will be given for the fastest, the best team, the most creative, people’s choice, the best younger team and the best sinking.
