Saint Leo Drop-N-Shop Events Provides Camp for Children

SAINT LEO, FL – Members of the Saint Leo University women’s basketball team will play the part of Santa’s Little Helpers twice this holiday season.

The team will hold Drop-N-Shop camps for children ages 4 to 14 on Friday, Nov. 25 and Sunday, Dec. 11 from 8 a.m. to noon. The goal of the camps is to allow parents to have a morning’s worth of kid-free holiday shopping.

The camps will take place in the Bowman Activities Center at Saint Leo University, 33701 State Road 52 in Saint Leo, near Dade City. The campus is approximately 4 miles east of Exit 285 off Interstate 75.

The four-hour camps will include games and activities, such as basketball, baseball, crafts and swimming in the Bowman Center pool. Campers are asked to bring their lunch, and a bathing suit, towel and sunscreen for the pool.

The cost is $40 per child per camp, with a family discount of $10 off for a second child. Options for early drop-off or late pick-up are available with an extra cost.
