Saint Leo U Men’s Tennis Draws No. 3 Seed For NCAA DII Nationals
The Saint Leo Lions Will Play At Noon, May 21, In Their First National Championship Tournament Since 2016
ST. LEO, FL – Saint Leo University will compete in the 2024 NCAA Division II men's tennis championship on Tuesday, May 21, in Altamonte Springs, FL.
The final 16 teams are set, and the Saint Leo University men's tennis team has drawn the No. 3 seed. Saint Leo's first round opponent is the No. 14-seed Queens College (NY). The Lions and Knights are set to play in the first round at noon, Tuesday, May 21, at Sanlando Park, 401 W. Highland St, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
On Tuesday, May 14, the Saint Leo men’s tennis team registered a 4-2 victory in the NCAA Division II South Region 2 Finals over No. 5 seed Rollins College, the No. 2. This secured the university’s spot in the NCAA Championship Tournament for the first time since 2016 when the Lions finished as national runners-up.
