Sexual Battery Against Child Charges Filed Against After-Care Employee
A 75-year-old Holiday man is accused of explicit photos of a child at a Land O' Lakes after-school care center, said the sheriff.
LAND O' LAKES, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff's Office has arrested an employee of The Dragon's Lair, a third-party after-care provider for Imagine School, and charged him Thursday with capital sexual battery of a child under age 12.
According to the sheriff's office, on Tuesday Roger Gibbings, 75, of Holiday made obscene statements and took explicit photos of the child while the child was attending the after-care program on Sunlake Boulevard in Land O' Lakes.
Detectives began an investigation after the child reported Gibbings' actions on Wednesday. Gibbings has been employed at The Dragon's Lair for several years.
