Social Media 'Joke' Prompts Lockdown at Sunlake High School
Pasco County authorities were called to Land O' Lakes school after officials reported a threat made on social media.

LAND O' LAKES, FL β Sunlake High School in Land O' Lakes was briefly locked down Tuesday after the school received a threat on social media, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities said the school was placed on "controlled campus" after the agency was alerted to the threat. Police located the student accused of making the threat, who told authorities they made it as a joke.
The school resumed normal operations by 1:15 p.m., according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
