UnitedHealthcare honors Seminole Gaming for successful Worksite Wellness Program
"Well Deserved" award recognizes employers for their commitment to employee wellness programs
UnitedHealthcare announced that Seminole Gaming in Hollywood, Fla., is one of 11 winners of its annual βWell Deservedβ award, an honor given to organizations that demonstrate commitment to improving the health and well-being of their employees through comprehensive and innovative wellness programs.
A wide range of health and wellness programs is available to nearly 10,000 team members at Seminole Gaming. Among the innovative programs are wellness luncheon seminars, premium reductions for completion of screenings, online health assessments and wellness doctor visits, a weight loss program resulting in the loss of a total of 1,200 pounds among team members, personalized wellness programs, free flu shots, worksite health kiosks with virtual access to doctors, worksite nurse availability, worksite mammogram availability, a special plan for diabetics, a healthy pregnancy program, a smoking cessation program, Seminole Gaming contributions to team member health savings accounts, and discounts for fitness programs, healthy meals, nutrition consultations, personal training, spa services and dietary supplements.
