Central Pinellas Chamber Hosts Inspire Awards In Largo
The Inspire Awards celebrate individuals in central Pinellas County who have had a positive impact on others in the community.

LARGO, FL — The Central Pinellas Chamber of Commerce hosted its 14th annual Inspire Award Thursday night at the Central Park Performing Arts Center in Largo.
The Inspire Awards celebrate individuals in the region who have had a positive impact on the lives of others through their leadership in the workplace and/or involvement in the community, the chamber said in a news release.
Eight honorees were chosen from multiple submissions.

Dev Shah, the 2023 Scripps National Spelling Bee champion, was among the winners. The graduate of Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School in Largo correctly spelled the word “psammophile” to take home the $50,000 first prize in June.
The following individuals were honored at Thursday’s event in several categories:

- Inspiring Business Leadership: Robin Katchuk, Palms of Largo and Patricia Collins, director of human resources for Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority
- Inspiring Community Service: Danielle Noble, McManus & McManus, P.A. and Nannette Prevost, Remember Me NFP, Inc.
- Inspiring Our Young: Dr. Duncan MacMillan, musician and educator
- Young Who Inspire: Dev Shah, Morgan Fitzgerald Middle School and Largo Youth Leadership Council
- Inspiring Public Service: Henry Schubert, city of Largo (retired)
“We could not be prouder of Trish's inspirational work ethic, leadership and motivation to keep PSTA moving forward,” the agency wrote in a Facebook post about Collins’ award.
Prevost wrote in a post on Remember Me’s Facebook page, “So incredibly honored to have won this award tonight from the Central Pinellas Chamber of Commerce.”
