1. Firehouse Subs' Co-Founder Comes to Largo Store's Grand Opening. Robin Sorensen, a former fireman, came to the sub shop's new Largo Mall location on Oct. 17.

2. Police: Largo Man Attacked in His Sleep During Home Invasion. Dandrea Demond Roberts is accused of beating the man unconscious, then he and his girlfriend, Tiffany Ann Jordan, allegedly ransacked the residence in search of money, police said.

3. New Recreation Area for Adults at Largo Central Park. Largo's new Fitness Zone opened officially on Tuesday.

4. 8th Avenue Roadwork Nearing Completion. The Florida Department of Transportation expects the roadwork, which started in June, to be finished around Thanksgiving.
