UPDATE: Knife-Wielding Bank Robber Arrested, Police Say

Largo Police say the suspect flashed a knife and took money from the Fifth Third Bank on Ulmerton Road on Wednesday afternoon.

Updated, 5:49 p.m.: Largo Police say they have already arrested and charged a suspect in Wednesday's robbery.

Largo Police are looking for a bank robbery suspect who they say flashed a knife and took money from an Ulmerton Road bank on Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say the man presented a knife and demanded money at the Fifth Third Bank, 11281 Ulmerton Rd., just before 1 p.m. Wednesday. They say he fled on foot headed west across 113th Street with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black man, about 5-foot-9 with a medium build. Authorities say he had a goatee and was wearing a thin black cap, dark-colored shorts, white tennis shoes and a white, long-sleeved shirt with thin black stripes and larger blue stripes.
