Kut Doctors Barbershop Opens in Largo
Owner Jason Murray says the shop's many chairs and multi-ethnic styling make it friendly to men, women and children.
There's a new addition to the Largo haircutting scene.
Kut Doctors opened a week ago in the same plaza as on East Bay Drive after months of planning and renovations.
With 10 chairs, two stylizing seats and a sleek, modern décor, owner Jason Murray believes his shop will set itself apart from others in the area.

“We’re trying to be different than other barbershops,” Murray says. “By having so many chairs, people won’t have to wait long for a cut. And we are going to cut ladies' hair as well, which separates ourselves from traditional shops.”
In addition to the unisex theme, Kut Doctors will also offer multi-ethnic styling.

Murray is working in conjunction with the nearby to recruit stylists trained in women's, African-American and Asian styles.
“We are going to be a multi-ethnic barbershop that provides stylish haircuts for men, women and children,” he says.
