LARGO, FL — It may have been shopping for a new Lacoste polo shirt or, perhaps, a pair of reptile-free shoes.

Whatever the reason this juvenile alligator showed up at the Largo Mall Friday, Largo police made it clear that the gator would have to seek summer bargains elsewhere.

Police unceremoniously removed the gator from the mall sidewalk.
