Missouri Avenue McDonald's Torn Down for Remodel
The franchise at the corner of Missouri and Jasper should reopen in September.
If you're driving down Missouri Avenue, be prepared for a strange sight: The McDonald's that sat on the corner of Jasper Street is no longer there. A new restaurant is gradually emerging in its place.
The building was demolished to make way for a new restaurant as part of the company's nationwide campaign to refresh most of its existing locations.
The new McDonald's will look similar to the one at . The restaurant will have a double drive-thru, Largo Program Planner Jesus Niño said.

The location will be closed until Sept. 1. McDonald's plans to have a grand opening of the new restaurant Sept. 4.
The Jasper Street location is one of three new McDonald's restaurants planned for Largo this summer. McDonald's plans a brand new location at , and the is also being rebuilt.
