New Bistro Brings Authentic German Food to Largo
The new eatery German Bistro 2 offers hearty servings and complete home-cooked meals.
Have a craving for heaping helpings of potato salad, cabbage, dumplings, schnitzel and apple strudel with ice cream?
Everything is made from scratch at Largo's new German restaurant on East Bay Drive. co-owner Irena Seidl does the cooking herself and runs the restaurant with her business partner Lee Hoxie.Â
"I hope to make people here happy with my cooking ... we wanted to keep it small and cozy. It's like visiting us over at our house," Seidl said.

After an unsuccessful job search, Seidl decided to look to her German roots and go with what she knew. Seidl had helped her ex-husband open the German Bistro in South Tampa, and so she decided to start another restaurant.
