• 87-year-old man with dementia missing more than two weeks in Largo (tbnweekly.com) — Largo police are still searching for 87-year-old Petro Kuqo, who has dementia and vanished from a nearby Clearwater apartment complex on December 12 without his phone, ID, or tracking AirTag. Family and officers are pleading with residents across Largo and Pinellas County to recheck home cameras, dashcams, and any surveillance footage in hopes someone spots him and can help bring answers.
   

• 2025 Year in Review: Pinellas County (tbnweekly.com) — Largo residents can expect the new Horizon West Bay complex on West Bay Drive to open soon, bringing city offices, retail space, parking and a public plaza together in one hub. The former city hall site on Highland Avenue now sits vacant after voters approved selling it for future mixed-use redevelopment, while the rest of Pinellas County wrestles with hurricane recovery, school enrollment declines and shifting development plans.
