Perfect SAT, PSAT Scores Earned By Pinellas County Teen: District
A Largo High School junior earned perfect scores on both the SAT and PSAT tests, Pinellas County Schools said.
LARGO, FL — An 11th grader at Largo High School has a reason to celebrate: Grayson Burns scored a perfect 1,600 on the SAT on his first try.
And a month earlier, the 16-year-old junior earned a 1,520 on the PSAT, the highest score possible, according to a Pinellas County Schools news release.
Only 1 percent of the millions who take the tests receive a perfect score on even just one of them, the district said.

Grayson is part of Largo High School’s international baccalaureate program and a member of the National Honor Society.
His perfect scores qualify him for National Merit Scholarships.

He shared his test-taking secret with the school district: “Practice, lots of practice.”
Leading up to the PSAT and SAT, Grayson took numerous practice tests to prepare for the exams, and focused on the areas where he needed extra help.
