​Search On For Largo Bank Robbery Suspect

Largo Police are asking for help finding a man accused of robbing a Wells Fargo branch on Wednesday.

LARGO, FL — The Largo Police Department is asking for help locating a man its detectives say is responsible for a Wednesday robbery at a Wells Fargo Bank location.

According to the agency, Erik Michael Durkin, 35, went into the 5250 East Bay Drive branch, walked up to a teller and demanded cash. After being given an undisclosed amount of money, police say Durkin left the area in a taxi cab. The cab, an email from the police department said, dropped him off a short distance away from the bank. Police say no weapon was seen during the incident. They have not elaborated more on the incident.
