The City of Largo is asking developers for proposals of what should go in the 500 block of West Bay Drive in downtown Largo.

The 500 block along West Bay Drive is owned by the City of Largo. The 1.176 parcel is nestled between busy Clearwater-Largo Road and Missouri Avenue North.
Currently the block is vacant, except for the buildings rented by .Β The city issued a request for proposal recently, which asks developers to submit plans for the city block in the downtown Largo.
City zoning allows for mixed-use. Options include retail space and restaurants on the first floor and offices or residential space on the upper stories. Plus, internal parking could be included as a part of the development plans, said the city's Economic Development Manager Teresa Brydon.Β
