Wish List of Businesses Readers Want in Largo
Community redevelopment is ongoing in Largo, with a mix of vacant storefronts and ongoing new projects all around the city. Here's a look at the types of businesses Patch readers shared they would like to see.

Buffalo Wild Wings is set to open Monday in Largo, and around 19 more projects are bringing new and renovated business development to town, including Walmart and Wawa. There are still more vacant buildings all around Largo including on West Bay Drive.
A recent Patch story asked readers what they would like to see come to Largo. Readers came up with lots of great ideas with a strong emphasis on restaurants and grocery stores:
- "We need a Wynn Dixie the one on East bay and Highland is missed," said Jeff Connor.
- "A Trader Joes would be heavenly! Hobby Lobby is great too, I'm leaning more in the direction of Midwestern stores however I'm slightly biased LOL," shared Tina Marie, who also thought a beach oriented store and a dog friendly cafe or pub would be great in the empty spaces around Largo.
- "I would like to see a Spaghetti Warehouse as they have the best Lasagna and a Logan's Roadhouse. A lot of if's involved. If I was younger and if I had the money I would like to open a Logan's," said Bud.
- " Starbucks by Indian Rocks & West Bay Drive, Chipotole, a create your own salad cafe like in NYC (not Sweet Tomoatoe), White Castle," said SF, who also wanted a NY&Co in the Largo Mall.
Some readers wanted to include shopping, fishing and entertainment in the mix:

- "Dave n Busters-- something to do besides eat!" from Grider.
- "I miss the bait store at the Bellair boat ramp," said Liane Smith.
- "An Organic/Health food store. (A nice one, that offers great produce daily). We also could use a baithouse on the way to Belleair boat ramps. Unless a large chain for an eatery like BJ'S or Cheesecake Factory, it won't make it. Again, room for such?" said Christine Goshorn.
-  "I would love to see a super wal Mart here in Largo," posted Noreen Gill Nadeau on Largo Patch's Facebook page.
