Adult Has Sex With Minor, Gets Charged With Lewd and Lascivious Battery

A 27-year-old Lutz resident was arrested recently and charged with lewd and lascivious battery for an incident Pasco County Deputies say happened last November.

Jose Luis Ortega-Campuzano, of Walnut Bend Way, engaged in consensual sexual activity with a then 15-year-old female, a Pasco County Sheriff's Office arrest report says. Ortega-Campuzano, who was 26 at the time, stands accused of performing a number of sexual activities with the teen.

Ortega-Campuzano turned himself in to authorities Monday (July 15) and was later released on $10,000 bond.
