Business & Professional Women To Host Annual Conference Workshops
The 101st annual Conference Day of Workshops Friday May 20, at Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — The Florida Chapter of Business & Professional Women will host the 101st annual Conference Day of Workshops Friday May 20, at Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel.
The day starts at 8:45 a.m. and finishes at 3:30 p.m. with networking to follow. There are five workshops:
“Know Your Voting Rights” with Julie Marcus: Marcus will discuss recent changes made by the Florida Legislature and their impact on upcoming elections this fall. Learn the facts about when and how you can vote and what to expect when you are ready to do so. Marcus will provide informative, practical guidance for voters, answer questions and give insight into how the office of the Supervisor of Elections operates.

“Building Your Business by Building Relationships” with Mary Owens: In this inspiring and informative presentation, Owens shares the three sure-fire ways to build connections, the same techniques that have helped Owens create successful and lasting relationships with clients, prospects and teams as well as personal and professional networks. Learn about behavioral styles, mistakes to avoid and the magic formula for success.
“Public Speaking Secrets Revealed” with AmondaRose Igoe: During this presentation, Igoe will teach the "3 Step Proven Success Formula to Double and Even Triple Your Presentation Results," and say "goodbye" to what doesn’t work and "hello" to public speaking results.

“Women, Wealth and Equality” with Renee Baker: Beyond income inequality, the gender wealth gap highlights the dispersion between how much money women keep and grow versus men. The financial facts are stacked against women.
“Advocating for Equity” with Dawn Hunter: Hunter will talk about different forms of advocacy and how advocacy can impact health and well-being. As part of this discussion, participants will learn about the role of law and policy in creating healthy communities, the movement to achieve health and racial equity, and ways effective advocacy can be used to advance organizational goals and policy priorities.
