Planet Fitness, Home Centric Join Lineup At The Grove

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — Planet Fitness, with more than 2,000 locations nationwide, is coming to the Grove at Wesley Chapel.

The fitness giant will occupy more than 25,000 square feet of space and plans to open in several months after construction inside is complete.

It will join a Bealls Outlet/Home Centric, which is also under construction. Both businesses are taking over what used to be the Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us buildings.

“We are not only a shopping and entertainment destination,” said developer and landlord Mark Gold, “but we are here for our guests’ mental and physical health as well.”

Other big box stores at the Grove include TJ Maxx, Ross, Michaels, Old Navy and PetSmart.

Other changes underway at The Grove's 250-acre property include a container park with a variety of eateries, an outdoor stage and a miniature golf course.
