Popstroke Golf To Host Groundbreaking For Wesley Chapel Location
PopStroke, a golf entertainment center backed by pro golfer Tiger Woods, will break ground on its Wesley Chapel location Wednesday.
WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — PopStroke, a golf entertainment center backed by pro golfer Tiger Woods, will host a groundbreaking for its Wesley Chapel location Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Cypress Creek Town Center, 25297 Sierra Center Blvd., off State Road 56, across from Tampa Premium Outlets.
Co-owner Greg Bartoli will be on hand for the groundbreaking along with Bryon Bell, president of TGR Design, Woods' award-winning design team; Pasco County Commissioner Mike Moore and Mark Stevens, president of Stevens Construction.
Woods and Bartoli have plans to open PopStroke centers at seven locations over the next 12 to 18 months, including Sarasota (opening in March); Delray Beach; Orlando (opening in April); Scottsdale, Arizona; Glendale, Arizona; and Houston, Texas. There are already locations in Port St. Lucie and Fort Myers.

The Wesley Chapel location is expected to open in the fall.
"These are dynamic, high-growth markets supported by excellent ownership groups," said Bartoli in a news release. "We are very excited to expand our unique golf entertainment experience across the United States, particularly in markets supported by surging population growth and great climates."

Woods and TGR Design will build two synthetic turf 18-hole putting courses on each property. Like traditional courses, they will incorporate fairways, bunkers and roughs.
"The feedback from our guests has been extraordinary, with great reviews about the golf experience, our technology, and our elevated food and drink offerings. We look forward to introducing the PopStroke brand to these exciting new markets," Bartoli said.

It has been rewarding to see the broad and diverse group of guests enjoying their experience at PopStroke, and I look forward to seeing players make those long putts in locations throughout the South and Southwest. Each new location will have a different course design and layout, giving players unique putting challenges as they travel across the country."
Developed in 2018 and headquartered in Jupiter, PopStroke blends a technologically advanced competitive golf environment with a 36-hole putting facility.
The PopStroke locations will also feature an outdoor dining area with a full menu, a variety of craft beers, wine, signature cocktails, ice cream, a playground and outdoor games.
Additionally, PopStroke offers a customized mobile app that allows customers to order drinks and food to be delivered to them anywhere on the course. The app also features their scores on a digital scoreboard and allows them to enroll in the PopBucks loyalty rewards program.
