Sponsors, Donations Keep LifeChoices' Doors Open

It’s a beacon of hope to women in need, and its light depends on the support of the community.

LifeChoices Women’s Care in Lutz provides the Lutz and Land O’ Lakes communities a much needed resource for women and men faced with an unplanned pregnancy, upcoming golf tournament chairman Tom Beach said.

The center's free services include obstetrical ultrasounds, pregnancy testing, nursing assessments, prenatal vitamins, parenting education, peer counseling, and post-abortion support if needed, Beach said.

Donations from businesses and individuals, as well as three major fundraisers, including the October golf tournament, provide the organization’s annual budget, Beach said.

A big need this year: Business sponsors for the golf tournament.

A tournament sponsorship is available for $5,000, or a co-sponsorship for $2,500, Beach said.

The tournament sponsor or co-sponsor will receive three complimentary foursomes for the event, as well as branding on event advertising and tournament banners,  special recognition at the awards dinner and a special invitation to LifeChoices’ annual banquet in February, Beach said.

Other levels of sponsorship include Gold, Silver and Bronze.

The $1,000 Gold Hole sponsors will receive two complimentary foursomes, two sponsor signs, advertising in all fliers and special recognition at the awards banquet after play is concluded.

“A Gold sponsorship will provide free ultrasound services for over 100 pregnant women,” Beach said.

The $500 Silver Hole Sponsors will receive one complimentary foursome, a hole sign, and recognition at the awards banquet.

“This sponsorship will pay our phone bill for three months,” Beach said.

 A $150 Bronze Hole sponsor will receive a sponsor sign, tournament advertising, and recognition at the awards dinner.

“In addition to these various sponsorships, we also need local business to donate items for our door prize table and golfer goodie bags,” Beach said.

Items such as gift certificates, golf items, merchandise, free services, items with corporate logos, overnight getaways, snacks, bottled water and/or energy drinks are needed, Beach said.

LifeChoices also needs the support of businesses and individuals throughout the year, Beach said.

“Among other things is our center's wish list,” Beach said. The wish list includes program items such as diapers and baby wipes, cleaning supplies, office supplies, and medical supplies.

“Every little bit helps,” Beach said.

LifeChoices Women's Care is located at 1527 N. Dale Mabry Highway, Suite 101 in Lutz.
