Tiger Woods' Popstroke Announces Opening Of Wesley Chapel Location
The Wesley Chapel location will be the fifth golf venue in Florida. The official opening is Friday at noon.
WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — The golfing entertainment venture, Popstroke, will open its first Tampa Bay entertainment venue Friday at noon in Wesley Chapel. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Thursday with PopStroke representatives, government officials and members of Florida's Sports Coast, Pasco County's tourism bureau.
Located at 25297 Sierra Center Blvd., Lutz, in the Cypress Creek Town Center, this will be the fifth PopStroke to open in Florida.
“We are very excited to introduce our unique entertainment experience to the Wesley Chapel-Tampa community,” said PopStroke Entertainment founder Greg Bartoli. “PopStroke is about bringing friends together to enjoy the great game of golf in a fun, dynamic and stress-free environment while enjoying elevated food, beverages, ice cream and a host of other amenities. There is no doubt that the growing and vibrant mix of families, seniors and young professionals in Wesley Chapel will make it an ideal location for PopStroke as we expand throughout Florida and beyond.”

“The shape of this property allowed us to get very creative and build one of our most unique set of courses,” said partner and championship professional golfer Tiger Woods of TGR Ventures. “I am thrilled to have PopStroke join the Tampa community with recreational and professional golfers and people of all ages and interests. PopStroke offers a fun way to enjoy time with family and friends.”
Earlier this year, TaylorMade Golf Co. made a material investment in PopStroke, joining the powerhouse ownership group that includes Woods and Bartoli. Central to the partnership is an alignment of family-oriented values, an optimistic stance on golf's future and a comprehensive growth strategy that aims to bring more people into the game through a fun and accessible golf experience.

"What an exciting time to join the PopStroke team," said David Abeles, TaylorMade president and CEO. "The opening of the Tampa property and its uniquely designed course is a momentous step in the growth of the business — as there are now five venues throughout Florida, bringing this one-of-a-kind experience to golfers of all ages and abilities. We're thrilled with the expansion of PopStroke, but even more so, we're inspired by its potential to bring new people to the game in a welcoming environment."
PopStroke is a technology-infused golf entertainment venue featuring Tiger Wood’s TGR Design team’s one-of-a-kind golf experience with two 18-hole putting courses. The venue includes an outdoor dining area with a full menu, craft beer, wine, signature cocktails, an ice cream parlor, an outdoor game area and a playground.
TGR Design created two 18-hole putting courses entirely with synthetic turf, incorporating undulations, fairways, bunkers and rough as seen on traditional golf courses. The Tiger Red Course challenges even the most experienced putters with strong contouring and tricky hole locations. The Tiger Black Course has softened contours to create an ideal course for families and anyone new to golf.
