$1M Scratch-Off Prize Claimed By NY Woman: FL Lottery

A Long Island woman claimed a $1 million top prize playing the MILLIONAIRE MAKER scratch-off game in South FL, FL Lottery said.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — A New York woman claimed a $1 million prize playing the MILLIONAIRE MAKER scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said.

Lynn Lamanno, 58, of Sayville, New York, chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000 from the West Palm Beach district office.

Lamanno turned $5 into $1 million when she purchased her winning ticket from Wawa located at 20 Southwest 12th Ave. in Deerfield Beach.

The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The MILLIONAIRE MAKER, a $5 scratch-off game, launched in May and features six top prizes of $1 million. This game offers more than $79.3 million in cash prizes. The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.87.
