2 Miami Banks Robbed Within 25 Minutes Of One Another

The FBI said two Miami banks were robbed within 25 minutes of one another.

MIAMI, FL — The FBI is looking for a bank robber who held up two Miami banks within 25 minutes of one another on Monday.

The first robbery took place at 2:59 p.m. at a Bank of America branch located at 2655 NW 54th Street in Miami.

"A robber entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee," according to Special Agent Michael Leverock and spokesman Jim Marshall of the FBI in Miami.

Leverock and Marshall said the second robbery took place at 3:22 p.m. Monday at a Chase Bank branch located at 801 SW 27 Ave. in Miami.

In both incidents "a robber entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee," Leverock and Marshall said.

No one was injured during either of the robberies.

Leverock and Marshall said the FBI was not releasing the amount of money taken from either bank.

The FBI released photographs of both robbers taken from surveillance cameras. They appear to be the same person in both.
