2 People Injured In Miami Apartment Fire

MIAMI, FL —Two people were injured, one seriously, when fire broke out in a three-story apartment building earlier this week.

Surveillance video showed one person jumping from an upper floor of the apartment complex to escape the two-alarm blaze.

A spokesperson for Miami Fire Rescue said both victims were taken to a hospital.

"Crews extinguished the fire apartment and performed extensive overhaul," the spokesman added.
