3 FL Cities Are Among Top 25 Destinations In U.S., New List Says

FLORIDA — Three Florida cities have landed on TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards top 25 list of the Best of the Best Destinations in the U.S.

The list was compiled by analyzing tens of millions of reviews submitted by global travelers over the past 12 months.

Miami Beach was the highest-ranking Florida city on the list, taking the No. 5 spot.

“At the shore in Miami Beach, visitors can swim, surf and jet ski in the warm and crystal-clear Atlantic waters. You can also nap on the white sands, work on a tan or simply watch the beautiful people, especially at South Beach, a favorite of models and celebrities,” the destination's listing reads.

Other cities in the Sunshine State to make the list are Key West at No. 10 and St. Augustine at No. 19.

The No. 1 travel destination in the U.S. is New York City, according to the list.
