7-Foot Boa Constrictor Refuses To Go Quietly
WATCH: A red-tailed boa constrictor puts up a fight in a Miami-Dade neighborhood.

MIAMI, FL — A 7-foot red-tailed boa constrictor turned up in a Miami-Dade neighborhood Wednesday and refused to go away quietly. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue's Venom One unit found the slimy critter hiding in a grassy area near NW 162 Street and NW 84th Avenue.
"When the Venom officer arrived, he found a 7-foot python that was not wanting to be bothered," explained a spokesperson for Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

Video of the incident showed the snake wrangler dodging lunges by the large reptile.
"It was no match for Venom One who was able to capture the snake safley," the spokesperson added.
