1. The Miami Heat beat the Washington Wizards 113-105 on Wednesday night, effectively ending a four-game slide and giving Miami a much-needed win to get back on track. The teams met again on Friday for another game against each other. (WPLG Local 10)

2. Art Basel has a line-up of 282 leading galleries this year, which is the fair's largest edition so far in Miami Beach. This year's event runs from Dec. 1 to Dec. 3 and will feature 38 countries and territories. (Miami Today)
3. Carnival Cruise lines has opened its $195 million expansion and renovation at Terminal F at PortMiami. The cruise line’s newest ship called Carnival Celebration was shown at the opening ceremony for the terminal. (The Next Miami)
4. South Florida shoppers hit the mall on Black Friday in Miami-Dade and Broward counties for deals amid record inflation prices. Shoppers were glad the lines were not too long this year. Malls attempted to draw shoppers with giveaways, discounts, and the return of Santa Claus for the holiday season. (NBC Miami)
5. DJ Khaled is giving fans a chance to sleep inside his sneaker closet starting Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. in partnership with Airbnb. A single-night stay on Dec. 5 or 6 is only $11. Guests are responsible for their own travel to and from Miami. (Time Out Miami)
