Body Found In Miami River
The body of a man was found floating in the Miami River Tuesday morning.

MIAMI, FL — The body of an unidentified man was found floating in the Miami River Tuesday morning. Police said the body was discovered on the east side of the river at NW 22 Avenue and NW 14 Street. A 9-1-1 caller alerted police to the victim around 6:30 a.m.
"The Miami Police Department’s Marine Patrol and Miami Fire Rescue personnel retrieved the body and brought it ashore to the Curtis Park’s boat ramp in order for homicide detectives to continue with the investigation," explained Officer Kenia Fallat of the Miami Police Department.
Fallat said that police had not yet classified the death pending a determination of the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s Office.
