- Club Studio has signed a lease at Grove Central, which is an upcoming mixed-use development with a transit focus in Miami's Coconut Grove neighborhood. The development is a partnership between Miami-based Terra and Grass River Property. An opening in planned for 2024 for Club Studio. (Miami's Community News)
- Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has expanded Florida's Voucher Program, which could have a big impact on public schools in South Florida by allegedly shifting taxpayer funds to private education from public schools. The initiative has been a long-running priority for Republicans in Florida. The Florida Education Association teachers union derided the measure as providing an "$8,000 taxpayer funded coupon for millionaires and billionaires." (NBC Miami)
- High-speed rail company Brightline has unveiled its train maintenance facility in Orlando that cost the company $100 million. Brightline will employ 175 people including engineers, conductors, technicians and inspectors at the facility. The route between Orlando and Miami is nearly complete and should open in the next few months. (WPLG Local 10)
- Florida Highway Patrol was deployed to Miami Beach after a "State of Emergency" was declared in Miami Beach. The assistance comes amid spring break chaos including recent violence and shootings in the area. Gov. Ron DeSantis ordered the operation, according to WSVN. (WSVN)
- Amerant Bank has partnered with Miami Dade College (MDC) to support the college's internship program and provide students with professional development and potential full-time opportunities in the future. The bank will host five interns and fives apprentices from MDC that meet certain requirements. (Miami's Community News)
